Bryan graduated from the Royal Dental Hospital at the University of London in 1984, and spent 18 months in residential posts before moving into general practice in London and Bury St Edmunds. He focuses on aesthetic dentistry, including smile design, veneers and ceramic crowns that help you smile with confidence. He has recently been awarded a post-graduate diploma in clinical periodontology and is a member of the British Society of Periodontology.
John Hare, Guildhall Dental’s specialist oral surgeon, has extensive experience of undertaking oral surgery as well as implant and reconstructive dentistry. John has over 23 years’ experience in implant surgery and has been placing and restoring dental implants with great success in Bury St Edmunds since 1994.
He is an accredited specialist oral surgeon, a Fellow in Dental Surgery of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a member of British Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a member of the Association of Dental Implantology (UK) and a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
After qualifying from University College London in 1986, Paul worked as a general dentist and a part-time Honorary Clinical Lecturer at University College Dental Hospital. In 1990, he moved to Cambridge to open his own practice before joining Guildhall Dental in 2002, becoming a partner in 2006.
He offers a full range of dental services, including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign braces and facial aesthetic treatments. He constantly works to update his clinical knowledge and centres his approach on evidence-based dentistry.
After graduating with honours and distinction from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne in 1987, Kate spent time working in general practice in Wales, Cumbria and Norfolk before joining Guildhall Dental.
Her postgraduate training has followed the formal general practice career pathway, and she was awarded the Diploma in General Dental Practice, Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1996. She’s particularly interested in treating anxious patients and managing dental phobia.
Specialist orthodontist Simon qualified in dentistry from the University of Sheffield in 1987, after which he gained experience in clinical dentistry in a number of hospital and practice posts before specialising in orthodontics. He trained at hospitals in East Anglia and University College London, graduating in 2007 when he also won a Gold Medal from the Royal College of Surgeons for his performance in the M.Orth examination.
Since qualifying as an orthodontic specialist Simon has worked part time in practice and part time as a consultant orthodontist at the James Paget University Hospital in Great Yarmouth.
Arti was brought up and educated in Colchester, graduated from Leeds University in 2002 and has worked in dental practices in Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Cambridgeshire. She is committed to further development and obtained two post-graduate qualifications in 2005 (MFGDP) and 2009 (DPDS Bristol).
Peter Clark is an experienced general dentist with a friendly and caring manner. He qualified in 1981 from The London Hospital, is interested in dentures and is a member of the British Society of Prosthetic Dentistry. His interest was sparked after he took part in a research trial on soft linings for full dentures in 1983 at The London Hospital; the results of which have been published.
He ran his own practice in Eye, Suffolk from 1988 for 20 years, during which time he passed the DPDS, was a trainer on the East Anglian Vocational Training Scheme for new graduates and a dental practice advisor to Suffolk PCT.
Rebecca qualified from Bristol University in 2003, before working in private dental practice in South Wales for over 10 years. During this time she aimed to increase her knowledge and skills in more complex areas of dentistry while maintaining a friendly and caring approach to patient management.
Rebecca enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is happy providing both simple and more complex treatments as required.
Faith joined Guildhall Dental as a full-time practice manager in October 2002, after working in a similar role within a general medical practice. She has AMSPAR and Certificate of Business Management qualifications and her aim is to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

Gum disease is the main cause of tooth loss in adults and healthy gums are essential to good dental health. At Guildhall Dental we aim to help you achieve this by regular professional cleaning and polishing, and by advising on a home care regime suitable to you and your needs. Our hygienists have many years’ experience and regularly attend courses to keep up to date with the latest techniques and developments.
